The world is so packed with amazing sights and unbelievable opportunities for life changing experiences that there is no time to spill. Filling your life with a lot of work and other duties takes away time for exploration and adventure.

We realized in 2012 that we had to spent our life – our one life – doing something that seems meaningful to us and that we enjoy doing. Neither of us like to be tied up in a job that just take away our time to do what we love: to travel. Not even all the money you can make working a lot of hours doesn’t appeal to us.

When discussing what we wanted to do with our lives, we realized that we knew no one whose life we would want. Not even for a day. Not even the richest lawyer’s life seemed appealing. So what then?

After spending some time on the internet googling different kinds of things, we found some travel blogs. We were immediately fascinated: some people actually travel their whole life and write about it? Just like that? The answer really seems to be: just do it.

And we will. To help us keep track on all our dreams, we have created this Bucket List. It contains all the different thing we want to do, see and try before we die. That may sound a bit controversial, but we only have this life and we want to make the best of it!

Below is our Bucket List. We will continue to update it with new dreams and goals. When we have achieved something on the list, we will cross it out and link to the post about our achievement (if we write a post about it – which we should!). Enjoy and add your dreams in a comment below. :)

      Hey Pia

Good ideas. I actually think we need to make a new bucket list someday. There are so many things we would love to see. It’s an amazing world.

Found this really inspiring, and understand exactly what you mean. We have a big dream of being full time travelers. But the hardest thing is to let go of everything and just do it. But I think that when you’re finally taking the step you’ll never regret it, even if you find out that it wasn’t the right thing to do, because you did it! I hope you get what you want, and seems like you had a great adventure on your recently trip :) I’ve loved your updates on Facebook so much :)

I agree. The last year we rented out our apartment in Denmark and we loved travelling the world. Now we look forward to selling the apartment and go travel again. For now we’re enjoying the summer in Denmark.
